Today I urge everyone to be aware of the economic blackout that is coming up February 28th during which no one buys anything. Then between March 7-14th no one should buy things through Amazon.
This is just a start. I ask anyone who reads this Substack to re-stack this on as many Substack groups as possible. The counter-attack against Trump begins on February 28th!
There's a harmony of sorts about the kinds of minds and thinking that align on this platform! I've been following Dara Star Tucker on IG for over a year now and SO appreciate her thoughtful and authentic take on the world! I often quote and reference her work! Salim Bhatti's page is a delightful surprise! One of his employers is a former client of mine; I did not work with him closely, but in our interactions, experienced him as optimistic (an undervalued quality IMO!), reflective and exuding a kind intelligence! I'm excited to see this version of him on Substack! And I won't leave this comment section without remarking on the AMAZING work you are doing Qasim -- you NEVER miss, you bring the receipts, you arm us with data and logic, you fight the fight in the 21st century way: data infused with compassion! Your advocacy is brilliant and empathetic! I wish you'd won your political seat in Illinois; I watched your campaign from the East Coast with great interest and anticipation -- the state, this country, needs the diversity of intelligent thought you bring to your work! Reading your posts on any platform and others like Dara really make me feel like I am not alone in this world as we watch this country (further) devolve into greed, fear and ignorance . . .
