I commented on your previous post, but again, I wish nothing but peace for you going forward. And as someone who has found tremendous value in your writing, I am glad to say I'm finally in a position to become a paid member. I'm very excited to further support what you do. 💜
Only you know when you are ready to start working again. And only you know when your family is ready for you to start working again. My healing heart goes out to all of you! As soon as my doctors give me the go-ahead to start listening to and watching the news again after my five heart attacks in early March (caused by my congenital fibromuscular dysplasia leading to a spontaneous coronary artery dissection), I promise I will be your biggest supporter! I have a bunch of tests tomorrow and a follow-up appointment on Friday, so hopefully, it will bring good news, and I can get back to supporting those who do the work. Please continue to hold your family close, as I will mine. 🕊️❤️🩹🤲
thank you for sharing the story of your father. It is very moving and thank you for carrying on with him. peace be upon him. And thank you for your words to us all.
My condolences on your loss. I hope that time eases your pain, but it also allows your memories of your father to remain clear and bring you peace and joy. He lives on through your memories and the stories of him that you tell.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't afford a paid subscription right now, but I do appreciate your writing here and your advocacy for our democracy. Take the time you need to grieve and do what you need to keep your balance.
I am sorry for your loss. And thankful for your unwavering resolve to soldier on in determination for us all even as you grieve and mourn your father’s passing. His struggle is passed; may he rest in peace. Now, may you be fortified to carry on relentlessly, undeterred by your personal setback from this loss. And, please, have the wisdom to know when take a break and rest up as needed - none of us is invincible.
Qasim, I am so VERY sorry for your loss. 💔💔💔🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yes we do. Reading the story of your father‘s life just getting to see what type of man he was. I have to admit that I was somewhat envious of you. I told my friends we can only wish we would have someone like that in our lives, imagine such a strong, powerful leader
You have a gift when you write it; it is with clarity; you tell it as it is. I can share with anybody and know they will understand. Thank you!
Thank you, Deb. ❤️✊🏽

I wish Substack made one time donations (Buy Me a Coffee type donations) easier and more Substacks provided that option.
I would love to support you, but senior on fixed income makes it challenging.
Thank you for the work you are doing. It is important and you are not only knowledgable, you distill information in an accessible way.
Grateful. Thank you, Nancy ❤️✊🏽
