The Work Continues—But Only With Your Support
I'm grieving but I'm in a place of balance, and we have work to do
Thank you all for your gracious support, patience, and outpouring of love as my family and I have navigated an extremely difficult last several weeks. I am blessed to have a loving community to keep me balanced, whole, and safe. My father’s passing is a stark reminder of the importance of community in difficult times, a reminder of how fleeting our time is here on Earth, and a reminder of the fierce urgency to act now.
His death has left a void that I know will not be filled any time soon, or ever, and I will continue to mourn in the coming days and months, as any son would. But just as my father laid his father to rest in 1977 and continued his mission to serve humanity—by literally flying across the world just days later—I intend to follow in my father’s footsteps in 2025, and continue my advocacy for human rights and absolute justice.
This week I am picking up where I left off, researching and writing daily posts on the critical human rights issues that impact us all—particularly the ones corporate media continues to ignore. Expect forthcoming pieces on how to prevent billionaires from exploiting marginalized communities, how to combat the autocrats working overtime to limit free speech and accessible Internet, and how to rebuke corporate media’s capitulation to the highest bidder, and more.
Today we won an important battle in Wisconsin, where despite a billionaire sinking $20M into the judicial race, the candidate powered by the people, won. Tomorrow we return to the fight to win the next battle to save our democracy.
No Paywalls for Let’s Address This
As always, my content will not be behind a paywall, and no person will be asked to pay for access. I ask those readers of mine who have the means to become paying subscribers, to do so only if two things are true for you:
You have the financial means to invest $6/mo or $50/yr to support my advocacy.
You believe in my research and scholarship, and want to help build a platform to combat the misinformation and disinformation dominating corporate media.
By the way, your support has elevated Let’s Address This to rank #71 nationwide on U.S. Politics. (More on this later). But I’d love to crack the Top 50—and can with your support. We have work to do, and it is not work I can do alone. We need community, we need unity, we need strength in numbers. Thank you for your ongoing trust and partnership. Know that it is deeply valued, as my work would not be possible without your support.
Subscribe, share, comment, and take action for justice.
Let’s build our more perfect union—together.
I am sorry for your loss. And thankful for your unwavering resolve to soldier on in determination for us all even as you grieve and mourn your father’s passing. His struggle is passed; may he rest in peace. Now, may you be fortified to carry on relentlessly, undeterred by your personal setback from this loss. And, please, have the wisdom to know when take a break and rest up as needed - none of us is invincible.
Peace be with you and yours. I appreciate your thoughts and words.
