We need massive civil action to stop these appointments from moving forward. Every person needs to call their U.S. senators, and anybody else they know who has influence, every day. The 5 Calls app is a good tool for anybody not sure how to get started. https://5calls.org/

These men have several traits that make them highly suitable for their posts in the tiny world in trump’s brain: they profess loyalty to trump most convincingly; they are incompetent enough that trump can feel superior, secure in the knowledge that they don’t know enough to correct him or manipulate him; and do they all have a colourful past that might put them in jail if released by a blackmailer?

This is an abject parody of government. What must the world be thinking about the USA? The leader of the Free World. If I hadn't spent my whole emotional life preparing for it I would be scared to death. We have spent over a year crusting ourselves over with Genocide Joe only to get to this. Thank you Qasim for letting us share the pain with you. May we all be our brothers and sisters and others keeper.

Qasim, thank you for teaching me a new word. I did have to laugh out loud because in my native Germany, "kaki" is literally a word for "s$#t." Those Greeks knew their stuff. Levity aside, I was thinking last night how I and my generation of Germans used to ask our parents who grew up during the Third Reich why their parents didn't do anything, how they could let this happen. The answers were never satisfactory. I'm now beginning to understand the insiduousness, the chipping away, the constant drip, the undermining, the fear mongering, the economic promises ... wake up, America. I am not as convinced as many Americans that it can't happen here.

Okay, I honestly expected all incompetent white men, but all sex predators (and one supporter thereof)? WTF? It's like he's intentionally seeking out the worst possible people for these positions.

Like Qasim said, this is a kakistocracy of the first degree.

No, seriously, it doesn't even make sense. It's like Trump--or one of his advisors--just said, "Who is the worst person we could choose for this job?" Does he have some sort of twisted scheme where he garners sympathy when every single appointee is rejected by the Senate? Can even Republicans get begind these appointments?

The time to engage with our congress members is NOW and every day moving forward. I have been writing letters and calling my representatives. That is the only way we can change the future. We will have more hell to pay if people give up and retreat into their bubbles! Our senators and representatives are being pressured to go along with the ransacking of our country. It is up to us to apply the pressure of a nation to act against the forces of fascism.

You have clearly stated the factual evidence that these candidates are grossly lacking in qualifications to be appointed to such important posts.

I like how you wrote ‘conclusion’, as if this was a wide-ranging argument that needed to be brought to a satisfactory close. It wasn’t. Every point was blazing clear. I can see why women in the States are afraid

Trump picked all of these incompetent people solely based on whether they would be loyal to him. Just another indication of what a selfish, incompetent, ego driven person The Fapweasel is!

So what is anyone going to do. someone needs to form a govt, making allies with others, asking UN to recognize them and not trump. Biden hasn't the guts to say know. Someone has to get the army on their side. Don't keep bemoaning. Democrats don't go to Trump's congress.

Basically if people are unwilling to stand up and perhaps a few thousand die---or millions, more than six we have more to slaughter here.

Everybody said believe what he said, but apparently they don't Going on like normal, talking like they reorganize in four years. Hell's bells if you're going to reorganize it will need to be before Jan 20, 2025, then anyone reorganizes are facing the firing squad.

Three months you won't be writing this column, sixc m,months all of us on the subscribner's list we have fled or died.

But apparently

Who's going to resist now> I'm so goddamned old, but I tell you I will get my walking sticks and wander the five miles into town to try to prevent Noemi's security from arresting any Latinos in this town.

If it ain't normal, someone open up their eyes now and understand he did mean no one would ever need to vote again, Project 2025 is the Mein Kampf of America, ghostwritten for Donald Trump's vengeance.

Tomorrow no longer exists why can't anyone realize we have to make an alternative tomorrow today or we are all facing the wrath. Or becoming part of the wrath if we do nothing.
