The Sinister Plan Behind the Trump & Vance Ambush of Zelenskyy
The Trump regime's repeated betrayal of our allies is obvious, but less reported is the deeper and destructive scheme that is advancing unchecked
If you watched mortified at how Donald Trump and JD Vance treated Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House, please know this is a snapshot of what’s to come. Donald Trump’s foreign policy is defined by broken promises, strategic failures, and a blatant prioritization of white supremacy in immigration policies. His actions have not only betrayed America's allies but have also made the country less safe by signaling to the world that the U.S. cannot be trusted to uphold its commitments. Even worse, this is an attempt to distract from an even deeper and more sinister plan that’s largely going unnoticed. The receipts show a pattern of this reckless behavior, and we need to call it out, address it, and stop it from advancing. Let’s Address This.
Abandoning Our Allies Is Part 1
Trump’s foreign policy is defined by betrayal, abandoning America’s allies while prioritizing racial favoritism in immigration.
For example, in 2019 he withdrew U.S. troops from northern Syria, leaving defenseless the Kurdish allies who had fought Daesh extremists alongside American forces. This, after promising in 2018 that he would never forget how the Kurds helped us and would always stand by them.
Last month he blocked over 1,600 vetted Afghan refugees—who risked their lives aiding U.S. forces against the Taliban—while granting priority refugee status to white Afrikaner South Africans (who by the way rejected Trump’s absurd proposal).
Now, his White House ambush on Zelenskyy is just the latest clear declaration that he is retreating from U.S. commitments to Ukraine. This reckless act undermines the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and emboldens Russia.
In 2014 a prominent politician declared on the U.S. Senate floor:
One of the most important things we can do to help Ukraine protect its sovereignty and transition to democracy is to help them with their defense capabilities. When the Soviet Union fell in the early 1990s, Ukraine was left with the world’s third-largest stockpile of nuclear weapons. But they signed an agreement with the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia, stating that if they gave up their nuclear weapons, these three countries would provide for their defense and assure their security. Ukraine upheld their end of the agreement and gave up these weapons. [Author’s Note: This is the Budapest Memorandum]
That agreement was signed in 1994. Now, 20 years later, one of those three countries has not only failed to provide for Ukraine’s defense but has invaded them. Think about what message this sends to other countries that feel threatened by their neighbors. The United States and the free world tells South Korea, Japan, and Saudi Arabia not to develop nuclear weapons because we will protect them. But after seeing what happened to Ukraine, what kind of lesson does this send?
I think the message to many nations is that they can no longer count on the security promises made by the free world.
Who was that prominent politician? None other than current Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who sat silent like a petulant child as Trump and Vance berated Zelenskyy, and then had the audacity to subsequently tweet, “Thank you POTUS for standing up for America in a way that no President has ever had the courage to do before. Thank you for putting America First. America is with you!”
Rubio is right about one thing—no previous POTUS has so brazenly supported Putin in violation of the Budapest Memorandum, putting the lives of countless people at risk. Ultimately, each of these aforementioned reckless reversals make clear that under Trump, America’s word means nothing, leaving allies stranded and global security in free fall. But moreover, these acts are just part of the more sinister plan at play that many in corporate media are ignoring. A devastating reality we must confront on its face if we have any hope of stopping its advancement.
Trump Is Preparing To Commit Mass War Crimes
Imagine a politician committing the following acts:
Fire more than 17 inspectors general, who are independent watchdogs specifically empowered to oversee government waste, fraud and abuse.1
Fire the Air Force, Army, and Navy's top judge advocates general, who are legally responsible to ensure all commanders follow the Uniform Code of Military Justice.2
Fire the Joint Chiefs chairman, which is the Navy's top officer and Air Force vice chief, also responsible to ensure the Uniform Code of Military Justice is followed.3
Fire and prosecute the FBI agents who worked on prosecuting the January 6 insurrectionists, while issuing a blanket pardon for the January 6 insurrectionists.4
Shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which exists to prevent billion dollar banks and corporations from exploiting consumers or using funds to commit illegal acts domestically and internationally.5
Shut down USAID, a critical life line for tens of millions globally, and a vital department to prevent violence and turmoil, especially in developing nations.6
Shut down US Institute for Peace, a vital organization built to resolve conflicts through diplomacy rather than through war or conflict.7
Sign an EO that makes independent regulators at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation accountable to the White House, not to their respective agency heads.8
Order US Cyber Command to halt all cyber operations against Russia, and in defense of Russia, exposing the United States to cyber attack from Russia.9
Require a loyalty test for all federal law enforcement officials, and fire those who refuse to put loyalty to Trump above loyalty to the United States Constitution.10
Build a concentration camp on foreign soil to house at least 30,000 people11, while passing legislation (The Laken Riley Act) which allows indefinite incarceration of migrants merely accused of a crime without affording them due process of law as our Constitution requires.12
This list is not comprehensive, but you get the picture. Such a politician who:
abandons our allies
consolidates power from independent regulatory agencies
shuts down watch dog regulatory agencies
terminates military officers and inspectors general who exist solely to ensure military law and regulatory law is followed,
eliminates organizations who exist to prevent conflict,
eliminates organizations who prevent financial fraud,
eliminates actions to prevent cyber attacks
prosecutes those who prosecuted actual insurrectionists, and
builds concentration camps to house ‘undesirable’ people
…is a politician who is preparing for war and to commit war crimes. And to be sure, all of the above is not hypothetical—this is exactly what Trump has already done in his first ~40 days in office. This is the deeper sinister plan clearly at work and advancing daily. The Trump/Vance ambush of Zelenskyy is not an anomaly, it is party of a calculated strategy to further desensitize Americans to our international obligations, to shift the Overton window and normalize divisiveness over diplomacy, and to lay the groundwork to commit war crimes without accountability.
Conclusion
I wrote this to document these ongoing atrocities and ensure the American people are aware of what is to come, so we can hopefully build an effective counter-response. My fury is at GOP leadership for continuing to enable this fascism, and my frustration (also fury?) is at Democratic leadership for failing to meet the moment. Even in response to the Trump/Vance ambush on Zelenskyy, all Minority Leader Jeffries could surmise was, "We need to see some mature leadership from the Trump administration. Democrats in the House and Senate will urge this breach be repaired.”
The man is preparing to commit mass war crimes, and the Democratic leadership’s response is effectively, “Let’s be mature about this or you leave us absolutely no choice but to ask you again politely to be mature about this.” I am sorry but this is what failing to meet the moment looks like.
Tonight is Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. Look for my analysis shortly thereafter to highlight and factcheck the disinformation he will no doubt spew. And as you watch Trump and his sycophants break down international alliances, terminate regulatory agencies, and fire those responsible to uphold military law, understand the goal. It is not to “make government more efficient and capable,” it’s to make government ineffective and incapable of upholding Constitutional and international law, and to sell it to the highest oligarch bidder. This is the reality we face, and it is critical we stand united as Americans of all faiths, colors, creeds—and political parties—to stop this fascism in its tracks. Indeed, fascism is a one way street, and once our nation goes down that road, there’s no coming back. We cannot let that happen.

He’s preparing for a pretext to declare Martial Law. When Michael Flynn rejoins the administration, you’ll know he’s on the precipice. He already has plans for it.
Out of all the commentary I have read, This is the most concise and clear explanation of what is happening and why it’s a problem. Thank you so much for your aid in teaching regular citizens and laymen how to decipher this chaos. Your input is greatly appreciated and I suspect you will become ever more widely recognized as a leader. 🙏🏼
