Transwomen/girls have been banned in sports. Transmen have not been banned.

On men controlling women " Stepford Wives" movie comes to mind. Also I think the mice were those used to study gene therapy for certain cancer/ illnesses. Transgenic mice.

Lobotomies performed on women were super high. If husband thought she was "crazy", really she probably just had enough, he would take her in and a lobotomy would be performed. They weren't always successful and didn't help with the suicide rates.
