Good conversation. I used to be in that evangelical Christianity world. In fact, Dara and I met via a little Arkansas church in the 80s. I think we have to generally give up on the ones who drink the MAGA Kool Aid. It's heartbreaking to watch people who started with good intentions sucked into the evil. But, it's not on us to wake them up. We can work together with millions of Americans who can see it clearly.

Separation of religion and state needs to be a non-negotiable. And I say that as an observant Muslim. If your god needs to force his views under penalty from some worldly government, its not faith, its fascism.

As a former Muslim and a former Christian, and as a feminist, I wish patriarchal religions would go away and die. Ironically, I renounced Islam while living in Egypt.

The Fapweasel can never be taken at his word. He tells so many lies, but here are there is a smidgen of truth. However, that truth is very dangerous, like when he said he was going to round up illegal imigrants.
