Heard this on the radio last night. I'm so glad the 500,000 medical bankruptcies each year were mentioned, as well as the close to 70,000 deaths each year due to denials of health care. This system is a mess. And now, if you watch The Dirty War on the NHS, you'll know that we're exporting this heartlessness. I wanna wake up from this health insurance nightmare!

Agreed. This is a living nightmare. Enough.

The MSM misleads us intentionally. That's pretty much their sole job.

I don't take ANYONE seriously who criticizes Joe Biden pardoning his son, considering the life-long criming trump and his demon spawn have participated in. Why don't they have the same energy for the trump's? As for the healthcare CEO, my humanity is just fine and I'm not celebrating. I have plenty of empathy for the suffering of the working class. I have 0 for abominations like billionaires or trillionaire CEOs, executives which should NOT exist.

Yes, Trump is the worst, but Biden has funded apartheid Israel’s genocide in Gaza. His pardoning his evil son is a slap in the face for all who supported him. Biden is just barely less evil than Trump.

Celebrating a murder is just plain WRONG.

But this response does serve to point out the deep and broad rage at placing American healthcare in the hands of insurance companies. Something has to change here..

Congress: ARE YOU LISRENING?

Get on the right side of this issue and speak out, or be prepared to pack up and leave Washington.

Single payer universal healthcare is the answer. It works in many other countries from France to Costa Rica, at half the cost or less, with more reliable, secure coverage, & much better health results. Most of these countries have greater longevity than the US, including Costa Rica, which is rare for a relatively poor, equatorial tropical nation, to live longer, on average than a rich, (supposedly) advanced northern temperate nation. However, here are some of the countries above us in longevity as of 2023 (we're #55); I think this will shock many people (*nation with universal healthcare: Wikipedia):

54) Panama

53) Albania*

50) Oman*

47) Kuwait*

43) Maldives*

42) Chile*

41) Bahrain*

38) Slovenia*

37) Cyprus*

36) Puerto Rico!

35) Greece*

31) Guadeloupe*

26) Bermuda

25) Portugal*

24) Qatar*

22) Israel*

21) Martinique*

18) United Arab Emirates*

17) Macao*

14) Malta*

11) Réunion*

10) Spain*

9) Italy*

8) Singapore*

5) Andorra*

4) French Polynesia*

3) South Korea*

2) Japan*

1) Hong Kong*

Even some African countries have universal healthcare, such as Algeria, Tunisia, Botswana, Burkina Faso & Rwanda (the last 2 being among the poorest countries in the world).

Spolier: Congress was not, in fact, listening.

Joe Biden may really have dementia, or simply doesn’t care. He could be doing a whole lot to minimize the effects of Trump’s fascism, and his own fascism, yet he is doing nothing. I will forever consider him a traitor to democracy.

As for the killing of the CEO of United Healthcare: this will not be the first. How long have these CEO’s thought they could cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands due to their greed, and placing profit over humanity? I am not condoning violence, but like millions of Americans I understand the motivation of the perpetrator. If this young man is caught it will very interesting how the trial will play out.
