seems many are looking for a 'scapegoat' to explain the poor performance of the democratic campaign and the loss of presidency, senate, and likely congress. Reflecting on the campaign, I can identify a list of things that I believe might have improved Kamala's chances, but it wasn't my call to make. Unfortunately, those making the inappropriate comments about Muslims chosing not to support an administration who supports genocide, I say shame on you. Would any of us feel comfortable voting for, supporting anyone who participated in the genocide of our family members, friends or communities? If the answer is no, how can we expect someone else to behave in a manner that is not accpetable to us. I also got the impression that many of the angry comments made to your were from those lacking information on the actual statistics of who voted for which candidate. It would have helped if they had stopped to review the stats before lashing out. Muslim votes were not the deciding factor here and the TRUTH is Harris did not address key issues of importance to many American's ... and speaking for myself, I would have preferred to see her directly address the situation in the Middle East, I wanted to hear that she would immediately call for a permanent cease fire and that there be civilized negotiations moving forward. She lost my vote by ignoring this very important issue, and this is an issue that our young felt strongly about. The focus on womens reproductive rights appeared to be her primary focus, but obviously she or her advisers thought this a safe issues to focus on, just ignore the rest. THAT was a mistake.
