I wonder how society would benefit if each of us considered how we’ve contributed to where we are today. I don’t blame the current abysmal state on one particular “group”, but I do blame Americans( including myself) for where we’re at. I’ve made changes in my own behaviors ( deleting all Meta owned social media, deleting Amazon prime, going out of my way to support female, LGBTQ, and black owned business). We need a strong and unified stand. Finger pointing doesn’t do a thing to help, but neither does apathy.

Thanks for the analysis. I don't think it was the Muslim vote although I too was involved in discussions, it was more to explain our very flawed election processes...many ways, but to name some - the electoral college (holdover for slavery like many things still in existence in the US), gerrymandering, a major cause for victory in the swing states, corporate payoffs ( thanks to the SC decision United) and the billions used by the oligarchy to finance their election propaganda, and the millions of Americans who didn't vote - something like 90 million. So I definitely agree. I voted the dem ticket, not because I support genocide, but because we have always genocided around the world...some genocides in the millions like Indonesia 1966-67, so I realized that the my interests internally (now I have 5 black grandchildren) if any advanced on the democratic ticket, were on the dem ticket..... especially with the white supremacy, racism and violence that the current President has generated for decades. Yes I am old enough to remember that he practiced racism for years and years as did his daddy. It's unfortunate that most Americans have increasingly been seduced by the blame game. Yes, lets move on to address the very real issues that we are facing with the maniac and his oligarchy. Time to get busy!!
