I joined a conservative television station to discuss Joe Biden's pardon of his son, and it did not go as they expected despite the host flat out lying

I’ve never shied away from dialogue with conservatives, because I believe my arguments and positions stand up to scrutiny. So, when I received an invitation today to interview on a conservative program about Joe Biden pardoning his son, I happily accepted. Watch how I cite receipt after receipt to debunk their attempt to frame Donald Trump as a victim. Then, enjoy their backtracking as they realized that facts don’t care about their feelings.

Note — the host flat out lied when he claimed that New York changed its statute of limitations law specifically to prosecute Trump. I declined to answer that allegation during the interview because I was unfamiliar with it, and I would rather simply admit I don’t know something than misrepresent the truth.

In reality, as I have since learned, New York did not arbitrarily change its statute of limitations rulings to attack Trump. New York had already previously extended its statute of limitations in certain felony cases due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that decision had absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

In short, Donald Trump is not the victim here. I am hopeful Joe Biden does not stop the pardons with his son, and instead extends pardons to ensure all Americans in need of protection receive the support they deserve.
