My Interview on Right Wing Media About Kamala Harris
GB News was not too pleased with my comments and tweeted a disparaging summary afterwards
Today I interviewed on GB News (a known right wing outlet) on Kamala Harris’s first media interview in her campaign for POTUS. It was clear I upset the host and the news station, as they tweeted a childish and disingenuous tweet afterwards. Some object to going on right wing outlets for this very reason, but I find value in being able to convey a just narrative. That’s the power of Collateral Education.
Let’s Address This.
First, let’s dive directly into the interview. You can watch below or here on Instagram.
In this interview I commended Harris for her economic policies, called out GOP obstructionism that is devastating working families, and also called on her to listen to the American people and stop arming Netanyahu and end this genocide. As I wrote earlier, the vast majority of Americans of all backgrounds demand an end to arming Netanyahu. Finally, I repeatedly corrected the anchor for mispronouncing her name (much to his annoyance), which is probably what led to the below tweet from GB News. As mentioned, the anchor and GB News didn’t seem too pleased as this is all they were able to surmise from my interview.
I accepted this invitation to interview on a right wing outlet for two reasons. First, engagement doesn’t mean endorsement, and I’m willing to dialogue with most anyone. Second, my theory of Collateral Education holds that while the person I’m speaking with may not be willing to change their mind—countless others watching and observing may be, and it’s worth it to reach them.

Not to compare you to Buttigieg, but you have the same savvy and composure he does. Well done.
Great job! Despite the negative (and weird!) post by GB News afterwards, the interview itself was pretty non-confrontational. I was actually surprised that he didn’t interrupt you, which meant that you were able to articulate a lot of good information in a very clear way. I’m going to use your helpful talking points in conversations with other people and in social media posts.
