Thank you for your insightful writings. I am a 72 y/o retired nurse, While this country has tried to move toward equality for all including woman, it has not yet achieved this goal and now we are being attacked for the few gains we have made, I know well growing up in this JaneCrow, pink taxing, stepford wife training, gaslighting, trying to impose guilt as a daughter of Eve who was a temptress and reason for gods wrath and expulsion from the garden, sexual double standard having, expecting me to accept a role as basically some man’s property to take care of his daily needs and bear his children, to constant ways of being told I am invisible or should be, or less than a man. I have been fortunate to have had access to film, books, journals, news which has given me the message that I do have equal basic human rights, but I have never had anywhere to actually talk about my ideas. I am so grateful to not just be able to read an enlightened point of view, but this is a place where I can have a voice. I spent the majority of my life in fear of negative reprisals just for voicing an opinion, I was told I shouldn’t worry my pretty little head, to you are a lame brain knuckle head just because I mentioned that I admired Eleanor Roosevelt, to physical violence for daring to disagree. I love this type of forum where people can listen to you and also interact with each other to hopefully further the goal of equity and equality,
Excellent newsletter, but as for the joke . . . well, that's another thing.
