Thank you very much for your service. We need more people like you out there that are standing up to this exploitation and devastation. Donated what I could and am sharing on my social media.
Thank you so much! I was just on a zoom meeting with folks who are very concerned about Altadena residents, which is home to many black and brown families who are at risk from the Eaton fire aftermath. Altadena was a place where people of color could buy homes when neighboring Pasadena excluded them with racist restrictive covenants back in the day.
Thank you so much Qasim. Safe travels, and may you get to help many. What a blessing for them at this much needed time. Sickening how predatory some other people are after disasters!
how is it legal for the "vultures" to come in and buy up properties, it seems so criminal to prey on people that are suffering in a disaster to only become victims of those monsters. it seems so wrong that people lose their homes and other people with unlimited resources get valuable investment property.
Thank you!
Thank you for your work and for telling us about this organization so we can donate to organizations that are actively helping people.

You must know about this already, but in case others don't yet, apparently Gov Newsom has done something to stave off the real estate vultures for 3 months. (I don't know enough to say if it's truly helpful or not.) https://www.gov.ca.gov/2025/01/14/governor-newsom-issues-order-to-protect-fire-victims-from-predatory-real-estate-speculators/

Thank you for your service to help others.
