Instead he is just sending more weapons to Ukraine to increase the risk of a wider war. He is just sealing his “horrible president” fate

Biden had 4 years to do this. He's a zionist coward who will do nothing of the sort described above.

Notice that nothing at all of this is happening. Biden has not moved one iota on any of this.

Is he afraid? Asleep? In secret agreement with Trump’s agenda? Told by his corporate masters to do nothing? What could it be?

That last one. The DNC won't allow any real changes because then they'd have nothing to dangle in front of us every 4 years. The fear mongering doesn't work but that lesson is always lost.

Good. Better is that Biden steps down let's Harris be the President and she staysnin power 4 years to strength laws Constitution and guardrails for any future election. This would resist who can run and be on.the ballot, no felons, no people with suspicious ties to adversaries, limit to appeals, fix scotus, no electoral college, no fake news medias, etc

I think you have a very good point. Anything that can be done to tie up Trump legally is good. I wonder if Biden shouldn’t be pushing the bounds of presidential immunity since we are in a crisis.

This email would be a lot more helpful if it provided links to petitions or letters dealing with these issues.

Declare war on Russia... make Trump a traitor at a stroke.

Great stuff but Biden’s little visit with trump this week just shows how much of an institutionalist Biden is. He claimed to have run for president after Charlottesville showed what a threat trump and his maga movement is to democracy in the US, and now he seems like he’s just going to hand over the keys to the White House to him. After a generally successful and substantial presidency, he’s going to just stand aside and let trump flush it all down the WH toilet. If he does even one of these things, I’ll be surprised. But one can hope.

He ran because the elite class told him to and because the DNC screwed over Sanders.

Another thing Biden could absolutely do would be to exercise his pardon power by issuing a categorical pardon for all civil immigration offenses. See generally Peter L. Markowitz & Lindsay Nash, Pardoning Immigrants, 93 NYU L. REV. 58 (2018). Given the reign of terror that the incoming Trump Administration is planning in the area of civil immigration enforcement, it could well help to try to generate broad public advocacy for Biden to issue the proposed categorical pardon before he leaves office.

He'll do nothing of the sort. Have you listened to the way Democratic party talks about immigrants? Please.

All good things for Biden to do before he rambles on his way out of the White House. Yes, send a copy to Biden and Kamala (to make sure it gets read).

How can you get Biden to see this article? How can we do everything we can to get Biden to act?

Sadly Biden will do none of this. Particularly stopping arms to Israel. He has been a consistent supporter of genocide. 😭

Sounds likealot of good ideas that will never happen. Biden doesn't care.

Can we shame him? He is handing over usa to criminals many Russian assets overtaking our government. He will be remembered as the President who was enabling the destruction of the USA. He has no empathy if he does not act.

Whose side is he on? Russias? What would touch him?

He may not be able to process all this, but then Harris needs to do what she must to take the Presidency.

Otherwise there will not be another chance.

Democrats keep saying, "The economy is great; look at the stock market!" War makes a lot of money without actually helping the working class.

I don't believe Biden was on anyone's "side", he was just a career politician who was useful to the military industrial powers. He put more energy into waging wars than anything else in his four years.

I know a lot of organizations are planning to challenge his policies in the courts. It struck me today that the Supreme Court may have neutered any oversight they had. If the court says “You cannot do that” and he does it anyway would there be any consequences?

Expand full comment

No. 45 behavior is free reign changing the rules. Ther are no guardrails once he is in.

If Maga messed with this election they would absolutely mess with 2026 if they even hold elections. So those in government saying we will back the Congress in 2026 I say no we won't.

I sent to following email ro President Biden today:

"Plea for President Biden to Act

I have been one of your rabid fans for the last 3 1/2 years. But your job is not done, and you must use your final months to do the following:

Stop munitions to Israel, institute federal protection of abortion, gain the generals' consent to never use troops against Americans, authorize stimulus funds for all Americans making less than 250K, forgive all student loans, resubmit the immigration bill which Trump blocked.

All of these are supported by a majority of the American people, and most can be effectuated through EOs.

I also support your turning these final months over to Kamala Harris. American needs to experience a black woman president.

Thanks for listening and for years of service."
