Steep declined double standard. And if people have all this money to toss away for people’s defense et al why don’t they help the homeless or feed the poor. $100 to food bank vs $100 for an assassins defense - talk about a steep decline in what truly helps vs the pisser.
Over the past few years I've been reminding people about the French Revolution (unleashed by a bunch of radical lawyers). Once decades ago read a book titled I think A La Lanterne A historical novel of the active insurrection part of the Revolution ; the Terror - - that featured the habit of stringing up aristos and other oppressors from the street lights of Paris using the handy ropes and pulleys used by the lamplighters. The grisly spectacle was quite prevalent for a time as Madame Guillotine worked too slowly for the sans culottes.
I've never forgotten that slogan and what it stood for in terms of mob violence. I'd guess this episode in Paris is not very well known , except to historians but the pungency of the slogan carries a lot of historical weight that should never be forgotten.
Unleash the wind, reap the whirlwind is probably more familiar to Americans who remember the Great Depression.
I guess there were no handy lanterns in America at the time.
Push too many people to desperation and treat ordinary folks like dried pieces of horse dung and eventually the predators become the prey. Horses are prey animals and evolution has by trial and error designed superbly equipped prey animals exquisitly tuned for survival. The more the oligarchs try to weed out their resistors the better equipped the resistors become for survival.
Very good. So many great points. But as a side note, so proud to see someone else using A Bugs Life to talk about oppression and class warfare . I’ve been doing it for 20 years and people laugh. But now look , it’s in a proper article, and will be sharing, that and the importance of reading this article. 👍
This is infuriating. They are trying to silence us and I personally refuse to let them intimidate me. My heart goes out to this woman. Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance corporation, is the reason my late husband of 20 years is dead, and I am currently existing as a victim of the violent United healthcare system.
"...the history of every violent economic revolution is such that when the billionaire or elite class pushed working people to the brink of human desecration and berated them until they had nothing left to lose, the only people that actually lost everything, were the elites." Yes! Remember the French Revolution! The American Revolution. The billionaires have not kept up on history so thank you for filling in as a philosophe--intellectual (not unlike Descartes, Locke) to keep us informed. Next step might be to create pamphlets with grievances.

Rashid is more than familiar with what the "healthcare insurance" does to us in the U.S. Poor Brianna, caught up in this made-up fiasco.
Please tell me she tossed an alligator through a Wendy'a drive through.
Holy crap, I can’t believe this charge is happening. Thank you for bringing it to light.
Sheesh.

Is this woman still being held? Her First Amendment rights are being violated and someone should contact The White House for a Biden pardon asap.
