Mr Rashid, if I press the red things that say "manage your subscription," it tells me I can "not manage my subscription in the app" but not how to do that.

It is not MSM that needs to outlets that need to report this but small local media that is where his brainwashed followers would be exposed to it. They do not pay attention to MSM only Fox News Max and other propaganda channels .

Please forward this wonderful piece to Biden’s speech writers. Put these words on his teleprompter. If Biden gives specific plans to improve the economy first and then reads this, it will be perfect. If he goes off script, we are toast. Trump proved that last night.

Very true !💙 unfortunately, Biden is a terrific President, but, he isn't good at the kind of Reality Show politics that people seem to like 😕

The “occasion” of Donald Trump’s nomination acceptance speech is a great opportunity to highlight the MAGApublicans’ racism and lies. So many lies! Even the MAGA faithful are bored by Old Man Trump as he drones out his litany of complaints.

Now, if we could only get the major networks and other MSM outlets to call him out, too, we'd all be in a much better place. WTF is everyone afraid of? Call him out!!!

Exactly. It's one reason I started Let's Address This. Legacy media is completely failing us in holding the powerful accountable.

Thank you for this!

I couldn't stomach watching the speech live. I appreciate the thorough analysis of what he proclaimed.

I heard he said he finished the wall, when in actuality he finished 58 miles out of the 1400 miles promised!

I'm not sure what's worse, that he believes his own lies or that his followers know he's lying but just don't care.

Same old lying, dangerous, demented fascist.

"Misinformation, disinformation, and fabrication sum up Trump's historically long GOP nomination acceptance remarks" --- YES! Absolutely! 😡😡😡.

That's why we have to Vote BLUE 💙💙💙!!

We need HONESTY, INTEGRITY, COMPASSION, and RELIABILITY in the White House!!!

Thank you, Qasim, for this overview.

To be candid with everyone, I had not any expectations to think that Trump would compose his address with fact after fact after fact and do so in an impartial, comprehensive and coherent manner.

Until Trump is given full protections of the law in a judicial process (or in judicial processes) for choices and actions he has made and that constitute willful and knowing violations of US laws,... until he is held accountable and publicly convicted and sentenced and subjected to the full terms of sentence, he Trump the person will have a hard time convincing himself he has to begin to choose the facts over personal whim.

It is our responsibility, our societal and intergenerational responsibility, to mend our political society and its institutions so that Trump or anyone else is fully and publicly exposed to the constitutional lawful protections and responsibilities that our Constitution stands for and that institutionally and attitude-wise promote inclusive democratic citizen-made governance.

While we do not do this, we can expect our complacence to allow rule of law and rule of law justice to remain underachieved and ignored, misused for the most ugly and harmful purposes.

Please dont call outright lies,"alternative facts", as it gives them the appearence of legitimacy, eg, a different point of view, but still proclaiming the same basic truths.

No. Trump lies. He comes up with fantasies. Not facts,,either conventional, or alternative. He runs from facts.

He fabricates fantasies, like he fabricates new nonsense words.

These are not alternative words, they are non words, and outright gibberish.

Otherwise, i am yet to read the rest of your article, a pleasure that can wait unril tomorrow. Its 1 30 am here. So good night, and keep up the good work!! : )

YOu're right. They're absolutely lies. I used the phrase ironically but yes, they're absolutely lies. Thanks for reading! Get some rest!

Thank you! Yes i did sleep at last.

I understand that the term was used ironically, but it has become a phrase that has been taken to give permission to believe lies, without examination. Cult members do not recognise irony, or they would not be able to stay in their cult.

These are people who believe themselves to be deep, while taking everything at face value. It is all about not being allowed to question. So if they hear the words, "alternative facts" they adopt them as THEIR facts, and disregard "other people's facts"... Undoing the meaning of facts, altogether , and undoing the valuing of facts.

No one can afford that.

But when in a cult, if anything goes right, its always because of the leader. If anything goes wrong, its always the fault of the "other".

...and if one is a leader of a cult, well, its the bully's creed: "everything is always everybody else's fault." Never theirs.

Thus, irony is outlawed. And hypocrisy has nothing to hold it back.
