I have him to win in my projections. It won’t give the Dems another vote, as he has refused to caucus with them if he wins, but it takes one more GOP seat away…and I’ll take it.
Donated as soon as I became aware of his candidacy. Far too few real people (as opposed to lawyers and purely self interested opportunists) seem willing to take on the rigors of political life. It certainly can be a thankless endeavor especially in this era of institutionalized lying and incivility. Anyone outside the echo chamber of hate is going to be mercilessly bludgeoned with vile concocted dissimulation. (Fancy word for lying.) Wouldn't it be amazing to add some blunt truths to our legislative bodies?
He’s awful. Deb Fischer is awful. I live on the Nebraska border and am pelted with his ads. Moronic. He’s not an independent. He’s a guy who claims Fischer is insufficient beholden to Trump. It’s hard to make the Senate dumber by removing Fischer, but Osborn is just the guy to make that possible.
You haven't written enough to tell me how you arrived at your inflammatory opinions. I have been semi-interestedly following his campaign and your blast of bile is the first negative comment I've encountered. Granted, I do not admit any of the white supremacist right wing-nut blather into my inbox so my bias is self evident and unapologetic. At least your dismissal of both Osborn and Fischer is bipartisan. Perhaps you are lucky in not being eligible to vote for either? And think that makes you an objective opinionater? Actually it sounds more like the voice of someone who in old fashioned terms "suffers an excess of bile".
I have never before donated to political candidates, because I don't believe in private money, even the small amount I would donate, in politics. This year, I panicked. Dan Osborn was one of the beneficiaries of my panic. He sounds like just the right guy, and he's not an incumbent.
And by his own admission -- https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#trash/FMfcgzQXJtDNQVlkMFrgxSKjLpBxMCXv -- he thinks he shouldn't be running. But he is, and I hope he finds out he did the right thing. I suspect he'll ride that train for a little while, then get back to life, and locale, that are familiar to him. And inspire someone else he thinks isn't the right person to take his place. One of the complications of private money in politics is career politicians, and they and their system are destroying this country.

Thanks for easy links to donate and the ones you provide for contacting Congress.

While I can’t vote for Dan I’ve donated. Will 🙏 for his success.
Been donating for a while. He was a union member like me.
I donated today as well!
Donated to the Osborn campaign!
