We need an inoculation against fear - just enough to strengthen rationality.
A case in point demonstrating how pointless cash bail is. Her ability to post bail is completely irrelevant to the only thing that should matter: the danger she poses to the community. She should only be released subject to house arrest or similar strictly supervised conditions, and only if she has no prior history of violence.
Here is a sad case where the criminal is treated better than the victim. I am really angry about this. It should not happen in our country.
