America has been whitewashing history for years! I’m 70 years old and I never heard of the Tulsa massacre until about 5 years ago. We never learned about it in school!

Great read and information, Sir! It's a travesty of education that this important history is hidden in many of our schools, including colleges and universities.

I grew up in Tulsa in the mid 50s and 60s. I occasionally heard vague rumors about a big "race riot" in the city's past, but never saw anything about it in a book. Adults that I asked denied knowing anything or were evasive. When the story became known a few years back, I was horrified and ashamed for my old hometown.

It’s beyond criminal how white supremacists have white washed this history. Only reason to do that is if they intend to commit that atrocity again.

I feel ya brother. It’s hard. I try to channel the rage into future progress.

I had to take a deep breath when I saw those headlines because they are so similar to what I’ve seen in media (especially right wing) nowadays, IMO.

The McCarthy brow beaten American Academy will study European CRT and leave unturned its inspiration from Native American genocide, an antebellum politics, Jim Crow and historical markers like Emmett Till, Sandra Bland, Leonard Peltier, Sergeant Isaac Woodard, Fanny Lou Hamer, etc.
