Blame the job market, blame the economy, blame the fat cats on Wall Street. But it seems no matter who we blame, it won’t help graduating students get that elusive job to pay off our gargantuan debt. The lurking fear is that we’ll be left to take a job that has nothing to do with our degrees.

But is that really so bad? Recent studies indicate that it might not be. And by “recent studies,” I mean a list I put together in 17 minutes. That list is below. It is a compilation of Harvard students (no less) who also did not use their education for their jobs, and have experienced some pretty good success. In fact, some of these people did not even graduate and are wildly successful. The list shows that if they can do it, then by God so can we.
